No one has ever become poor by giving - Anne Frank
We are so privileged to be living in such a great and prosperous country like Australia.
Every day we are grateful for our home, our blessings and our position and don't want to forget the opportunities that this great country allow us.
So giving back is a no brainer for HENDEER. We do not want to simply be about financial success, we care about lifting others as we grow and choose to support charities and causes along our journey.
We currently donate to the The John Fawcett Foundation. This is a great humanitarian not-for-profit organisation that offers the 'Gift of Sight'.
JFF’s humanitarian projects are based in Bali, Indonesia, and include Sight Restoration and Blindness Prevention, Children’s Corrective Surgery, Prosthetic Eyes and Technology Transfer. Their programs target people who are economically disadvantaged and all services are provided free of charge.
Cataract blind people are blind because they are poor, and they are poor because they are blind. So access to quality eye care is one of the most effective and cost-efficient ways to reverse the cycle of poverty. When sight is restored to someone who is blind, it doesn’t just transform the life of that individual. It has a ripple effect, strengthening his/her family and community. People can go back to work to support their families; children can go to school. The whole community benefits.
A momentary act of kindness. A lifetime of relief.
Changing someone's life doesn't require a huge effort. Just a willingness to help.
Children should not be denied the joy of seeing the world around them.
You can create a miracle by providing the gift of sight.
Donating as little as $95 can help someone see sunlight again.
It's amazing what a small contribution can achieve.
